We have various flex sections available ranging from sizes of 1 3/4" to 4". We can also have special orders up to 8"! A flex pipe is used to dampen the vibrations in the exhaust system. This prevents rattling noises and also reduces added stress on the exhaust manfold to help prevent warping and cracking. All flex sections are made out of stainless steel bellows wrapped in a stainless steel mesh. We have a couple of double mesh (inside and out) flex sections which eliminate the whistling effect a regular flex might cause. This is known to happen on hondas. |
